1. Scope
These terms govern the use of Velum Weddings (velumweddings.com). By registering, you accept these terms.
2. User types & roles
2.1 Vendors (service providers)
- You showcase your services on the platform.
- You pay €2.99/month for an active profile.
- Your profile must be approved by us (quality control).
- You receive inquiries from couples and reply directly.
2.2 Couples
- You browse vendors for free.
- You can send inquiries to vendors (free of charge).
- After contact, communication happens directly between you and the vendor.
3. Registration & account
3.1 Registration requirements
- Vendor: email, category, region, portfolio (at least 1 image).
- Couple: email signup optional.
3.2 Account responsibility
- Security of your password
- All activity under your account
- Truthfulness of your information
3.3 Right to refuse / suspend
- Fraudulent information
- Spam, harassment
- Breach of these terms
- Illegal content
4. Vendor subscription
4.1 Pricing
- €2.99/month (or current price at /pricing)
- Monthly billing via Stripe
- Cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
4.2 With promo code
- Code valid once per account
- After expiry: automatic subscription at €2.99/month or account becomes inactive
- We send reminders before expiry
4.3 Activating / deactivating profiles
- Active subscription: your profile is visible
- No subscription: profile is hidden
- On deletion: all data is deleted (irreversible)
5. Content & portfolios
5.1 Vendor content
- Photos, videos and description form your portfolio.
- You warrant you hold all rights to the content.
- You keep copyright but grant us a license to display it.
5.2 Prohibited content
- Nudity, violence, hate
- Copyright-infringing content
- Spam, advertising for other platforms
- Deceptive or false information
5.3 Content moderation
We review all content and may remove it without warning if it violates these terms.
6. Inquiry system
6.1 How it works
- Couple sends an inquiry through the platform.
- You receive an email notification.
- You reply via the platform inbox.
- After first contact you may communicate directly.
6.2 Off-platform communication
After initial contact you may communicate directly. Velum Weddings does not moderate at that point.
7. Payments & Stripe
7.1 Payment processing
All payments are processed via Stripe. You accept: stripe.com/en-de/legal
7.2 Cancellation & refunds
- Free trial: no refund needed
- Paid subscriptions: cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month
- No prorated refund for the current month
- Duplicate charges: support@velumweddings.com
7.3 Payment failures
- 2 notifications on failed payment
- After 2 weeks: profile becomes inactive
- After 30 days: account is deleted
8. Disclaimer
8.1 No booking guarantee
- Velum only connects couples and vendors.
- No guarantee of any booking or contract.
- Not a party to the vendor-couple contract.
- No liability for service quality, cancellations, errors or financial losses.
8.2 Couples
- Payments to vendors are private.
- Velum has no financial responsibility.
8.3 Vendors
- Services are your own responsibility.
- Contracts with couples are private.
